Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using UML Forge (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and UML Forge.

2. Service Description

UML Forge is an AI-powered diagram generation platform that produces UML and architecture diagrams via a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector. Diagrams are generated using large language models and are provided for informational purposes. AI output may contain errors — always review diagrams before production use.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You may not share API keys or resell access to the Service.

4. Payments and Refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed by Paystack. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but may issue refunds at our sole discretion for billing errors.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights. When using the GitHub URL feature, you may only provide URLs to repositories you have the legal right to analyse. You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits, reverse-engineer the prompt system, or interfere with other users’ access.

6. Intellectual Property

UML Forge retains all intellectual property rights in the platform, prompt engineering, and tooling. Diagrams generated from your code or descriptions are yours to use freely. We do not claim ownership of your input content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that diagrams will be error-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. AI-generated output should be reviewed by a qualified professional before use in critical systems.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UML Forge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice. Free-tier accounts inactive for more than 12 months may be deleted.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
